Vigilantism Bill should be renamed ‘Militias Bill’ – Hon. Avedzi

The Deputy Minority Leader and Member of Parliament for Ketu North, Mr. James Klutse Avedzi, has indicated that the Vigilantism and Related Offences Bill, 2019 should be renamed as ‘The Militias’ Bill, 2019.

The Chairman for the Parliamentary Select Committee on Constitutional, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs, Mr. Ben Abdallah Banda, has stated that stakeholders engagements on the newly laid Vigilantism and Related Offences Bill will start soon.
