Mason remanded for robbery

An Accra Circuit Court has remanded a Mason for robbery.

The accused, Patrick Bediako Kwaku Atta and his accomplices, who are on the run, were said to have robbed one Andy Tettehfio (complainant) of his Kia Optima saloon car, an iPhone 6 mobile phone, a Samsung television set and a DVD deck, at his resident at Adjiringanor near East Legon. The rest of the items were a woofer, an Apple MacBook air laptop, a Peugeot wrist watch and cash in the sum of 40 Cedis. The total amount of the alleged robbed items is 93,540 Cedis.

The accused, who denied the offence in his caution statement to the Police, pleaded not guilty to the charge of robbery. After the Prosecutor, Superintendent Kwaku Bempah, briefed the court on the facts of the case, the Presiding Judge, His Honour Aboagye Tandoh, remanded the Accused in Police. He is to reappear in court on the 24th of August, 2017.
