Ghana’s Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia says it is cruel and inhumane for people to engage in child trafficking.
He said this in a discussion with the leadership of International Justice Mission at the Flagstaff House. The discussion, which was on combating child trafficking, was revealed by the Vice President in a Facebook post.
He stated that the government is committed to addressing, and is eager to employ, a proven model to combat child trafficking in the country. He intimated that children should not be sold, adding it is cruel and inhumane.
