Parliament has summoned the Attorney-General and Minister for Justice, Ms. Gloria Akuffo to respond to a question on the ruling of the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea (ITLOS) between Ghana and Cote d’Ivoire.
The Member of Parliament for Nsawam-Adoagyiri, Mr. Frank Annoh-Dompreh will, on Monday, the 11th of December, 2017 ask the Minister what specific steps are being taken to ensure that an acceptable maritime map is drawn following the recent ruling from the ITLOS.
It is expected that other Members will take the opportunity to ask the Minister questions relating to the issue.
In September this year, the ITLOS ruled in favour of Ghana in a three-year long maritime dispute between the two countries.
