The NPP Deputy General Secretary, Nana Ofori Boahene, who has been watching brief in the murder case of the late J.B. Danquah has expressed his displeasure concerning the attitude of the pathologist, Dr. Lawrence Edusei, in producing the autopsy report of the deceased.

According to the politician, the pathologist has exhibited consistent gross disrespect for the court and its processes by absenting himself on several occasions when he was summoned to appear before the court.

Mr. Boahene added that he had petitioned the Medical and Dental Council on the attitude of the pathologist but had not received any feedback from them yet.

“If he cannot do the work, someone should take over from him”, he said.

The Deputy General Secretary prayed the court to issue a bench warrant against the pathologist but it was denied.

At the last sitting, the pathologist was ordered by the court to produce the autopsy report of the late J.B Danquah before 8th February, 2018.

The pathologist was absent in court today and had not filed the autopsy report.

The court has ordered that the pathologist be present on 22nd February, 2017, the next adjourned date.
