Persons who arrived at the High Court in Accra to observe the case against Dr. Stephen Opuni (former CEO of COCOBOD) and two others expressed anger at the entrance of the court room today because of a supposed security screening.

At about 9am, the case which was to be heard at 12 noon, had attracted a full court, which left some observers standing outside.

The Police asked everyone to move out of the court room for security screening to be done at the entrance of the door, but it turned out that the security personnel were being selective on who entered the court room. This did not go down well with others who felt discriminated against.

In attendance at the hearing of the lawsuit against Dr. Opuni were Mrs. Gloria Akuffo (Attorney General), Mrs. Shirley Aryeetey, Mrs. Marietta Brew (former Attorney General), Mr. Felix Owusu Kwakye (former Deputy Minister of communication) and some other high ranking members of the opposition NDC.
